It began with the intention to contribute to society by fostering the youth via sports. It resulted in growth with mainly the footwear and apparel business based in more than 50 geographies around the globe.
With a vision to “Create Quality Lifestyles through Intelligent Sport Technology,” ASICS is steadily setting up the groundwork for future growth. As a next step, the brand wanted to roll out a solution for their B2B retailers in the US and other regions and was on the lookout for the best solution that would work for them globally for their B2B business.
ASICS engaged Knack Systems to implement a collaborative B2B solution (SAP Commerce – On premise + SeasonOne—a solution that presents a single platform for all pre-book, re-order, and personalized product management needs for consumer product and businesses) that would allow them to efficiently manage their B2B business globally. SeasonOne, combined with SAP Commerce, now provides ASICS’ retailers with early demand visibility, allows them to perform accurate pre-booking, and ensures that the re-ordering functionality works seamlessly during season.
With this transformational leap, ASICS has enabled access to accurate product information to their sales and commercial teams, distributors and related buyers, product information management team, and value-added service partners. ASICS now reports improved order accuracy and a reduction in inventory write-offs.
SeasonOne combines commerce, content, and collaboration for ASICS to help operate their B2B business efficiently and profitably. The solution enables their teams to create and share customer-specific digital e-Catalogs and order forms for efficient and accurate demand capture. SeasonOne combines self service, assisted service, and full service capabilities, bringing about more streamlined customer service operations at ASICS and enabling a lower cost to serve.
