Project Description

Summit Electric had a pre-existing engagement with Knack Systems, which had helped build a relationship of trust between the organizations. Knack Systems replaced SAP CRM 7 with SAP Sales and Service Cloud solutions for Summit's sales and service users.

Features not originally available in SAP on-premise solutions were incorporated into SAP Sales and Service Cloud to best suit Summit's needs.

The SAP Sales and Service Cloud solutions were integrated to ECC 6.0 ENHP7 seamlessly using HANA Cloud Integration (HCI).

As a next step, the company sought a way to move to the next-generation of SAP CRM solutions — SAP C/4HANA — in order to help their teams manage customer disputes more efficiently, and facilitate detailed lead and opportunity management for their sales personnel.

Summit Electric Supply engaged Knack Systems to replace their existing CRM solution with SAP C/4HANA for sales and service users. The brand was able to thus gift their Counter Sales, Credit, and Customer Service teams the ability to enhance customer interactions and accelerate the Sales cycle, leveraging the unified customer experience solution deployed by Knack Systems.

With this major step, Summit Electric Supply is now able to serve customers even better and has streamlined outbound email, campaign definition, execution, response tracking processes in place for their marketing activities. The brand has also strengthened the lead activity tracking, routing, and conversion processes.
