Setting the trends that shape the Consumer Experience

Celebrating its 100th year of international excellence, Electrolux drives innovation through its products that are designed in state-of-the-art laboratories. As a next step, the brand wanted to extend their benefit program by creating an online shopping experience for its associates, their friends and family, and partner associates to purchase appliances online at discounted prices.

They wanted to develop an Electrolux’s B2B portal for their retailers, contractors, and home builders to place and manage orders for finished goods as well as made-to-order/factory direct purchases that will seamlessly integrate with their back-office operation i.e SAP ERP. To extend their benefit program, Electrolux desired to create an online shopping experience for their associates, their friends and family, and partner associates to purchase appliances online at discounted prices. In a separate initiative, Electrolux had the need to expand SAP Commerce to support online B2C order management of select Frigidaire products. They also wanted to upgrade the SAP Commerce version to 6.7 for enhanced capabilities.

Since 2012, Knack Systems has implemented, integrated, enhanced, and provided continuous support for multiple Electrolux projects, including SAP Commerce (aka Hybris Commerce), SAP C/4HANA (aka SAP Sales/Service Cloud), and SAP CRM On-Premise.

Since the go-live of these digital transformation projects, Electrolux has witnessed a doubling of e-Commerce revenue in less than two years, a wider customer base and new types of customers, and new revenue streams. SAP C/4HANA has helped Electrolux see a reduction in call and email inquiries and boost customer, partner, and employee satisfaction.

Electrolux's back-end ERP integration has enabled the brand to gain better visibility into stock, shipping information, order tracking, order history, and pricing.
