Build and Integrate

During Build and Test stage the required software is constructed and tested. Source code is subject to reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and fulfillment of requirements. Any required changes are incorporated into the code.

The completed code is tested, using the unit test plan. Any defects that may be found are fixed and
re-tested.

Integration Test

Integration is a systematic approach to build the complete software structure specified in the design stage, from unit-tested components. While doing integration, tests are conducted to find defects associated with interfacing. Integration is performed in the order specified in the integration plan and corresponding test cases for each integration phase are executed. The integration plan describes the sequence of integration, overhead software (stubs and drivers), test environment and resources required.

Where multiple teams are developing various modules in parallel, integration test is a critical stage in the project life cycle where the different modules developed by Knack Systems' and client's teams are integrated.

The test is performed, using the integration test plan. Any defects that may be found are fixed and re-tested.

Acceptance Test

Client's users and QA teams will perform the acceptance test during which all business processes are tested using an acceptance test plan. Knack Systems supports the client team in the acceptance test process.

During this life cycle stage all instances of non-compliance (defects) with the acceptance criteria will be fixed.
